Ozark Netflix original....excellent - family hiding and laundering money had to move to the Ozark Lake in Missouri expecting cartel death. First episode a bit graphic- like Breaking bad but no meth, more laundering, a hell of a lot more.

Definitely recommended

I fully agree, watched the first two episodes so far.

<sigh>
Why do they have to keep making good new TV when there's plenty of good TV I've not got around to yet?

I couldn't agree more, highly entertaining - I watched the whole series and was left wanting more...I hope they'll be a series 2. It made me look the Ozarks up, they really do look visually stunning, although a little too socially like NB for my comfort

I've also just enjoyed Run which is four episodes that follow four loosely linked characters living in London, I think it looked like Brixton, but it didn't say. Some really good acting - Olivia Coleman for one. Well worth the effort.

Trust Me A somewhat improbable BBC drama about an A & E nurse assuming the persona of her A & E doc friend who emigrated.. Jodie Whittaker is the lead, presumably practicing being a doctor until the tardis key enters the lock at Christmas.

It just shows anyone can do it.

An older documentary on NFlix called Isolated I thought was excellent.

I will definitely give Isolated a try.

I see on Netflix we now have Peaky Blinders I immediately thought of Bristol. I shall save it up like a special sweetie, to enjoy when the weather turns

Sounds a bit like Paper Mask with Paul McGann (I met him once...did his Incapacity Benefit form with him )
Matthew Harris is a young, lowly orderly working in a busy hospital in London who dreams of bigger and better job opportunities for himself. One evening, he witnesses a car accident outside a local pub where the driver of a car is killed after colliding head-on with a lorry. Harris learns that the man, named Simon Hennessey, was a doctor at the hospital where he works and had been applying for a residency at another hospital in Bristol. Harris takes the dead man's mail, fills out a job application, and applies for the job himself under the late doctor's idenitity. After studying medical books and getting "hands on" involvement with other patients at his hospital, Harris applies for the job and is accepted. He quits his orderly job and settles in Bristol where he, as Dr. Simon Hennessey, is assigned to a busy Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.
There must be something about Doctor Who actors pretending to be more than one doctor.
