As long as they provide good alternatives to/from downtown, I can't say there is anything wrong with congestion charges for peak hours into downtown. The only issue is governments like to add taxes to things, but add no alternatives and just use the fees as a tax to the general coffers.

Hence I combined it with regular go train service, which includes Hamilton. The general go network is pretty decent; running regular trains on all lines would go an exceptionally long way!

Its the skittishness from being in BC where the government likes to add tolls, fees, and taxes but no transportation alternatives to avoid them.
