Default Desert Island Discs Goes To Skool

Post your eight from your school years. Just a list, as videos can take an age to load when there's a ton of them.

One video is allowed for special reasons.

Maggie May - Rod Stewart
Tomorrow Night - Atomic Rooster
Burlesque - Family
Standing in the Road - Blackfoot Sue
Hocus Pocus - Focus
Telegram Sam - T Rex
Silver Machine - Hawkwind
Back Street Luv - Curved Air

Desert Island rules

It was my brother's 65th recently. An advantage of an older sibling is you get to hear music that I can only describe as above your age group and, back then, when all you had was daytime radios One & Luxembourg that was very useful in developing musical tastes.

Anyway, thanks to youtube I was able to dig out versions - some original, some live - of just about everything of his that I borrowed and loved and I made a sort of representative album for him.

I was larking about on youtube the other day and I started to save videos of stuff I remembered from schooldays - easily done because you find one from the time and there are half a dozen others from the same page.

In no time at all I had 22 and there will be others to come.

So I thought why not a desert island collection. For some reason I thought that was six, so it was nice to discover it was actually 8

For Bristol it would probably be some sort of streaming device to avoid Canadian TV.
