I started by throwing in to a wok, chopped onion with plain old curry powder until the onion has a green colour, when the onion softens add the chicken, when thats partially cooked throw in a tin of consensed cream of mushroom soup, and fresh mushrooms, add little water to loosen the mixture, then finally add peas! serve with egg fried rice! really simple but not too unlike a British Chinese curried chicken!
Not exactly what yo were looking for...but give you an idea!

I could swear I saw cans of curry sauce at my local No frills the other day.
Not that I think operation of a deep fat fryer under the influence is probably a very good idea...

Another small but important example of how Canadian culture has dissolved into nihility. That said, there is a Chinese place here that does curry sauce and chips but it’s not on the way back from the pub so its naffing useless.

A nihilist forces his way into the cockpit and immediately shoots the pilot.
Curry and chips is good - why not make curry then freeze some little tubs of the sauce to have on chips whenever you want?

Okay, this is going to sound bizarre but it is a Slimming World recipe that tastes just like chip shop curry.
1 can of chopped tomatoes
1 onion
1 can of mushy peas
curry powder.
Oil
Fry off your onions until soft, add your toms and mushy peas. Curry powder to taste. If it is too watery for you then add some cornstarch.
Delicious.

For the receipt, produce gallons of it, then get yourself a barrow, and sell Currynchips
Outside pubs and call it little Britain.
Seriously tho..
My own recipe ingredients...Apple(cooked down), onion, clove garlic curry powder or paste, some sultanas and raisins.Using also mushypeas liquidized down.
Many years ago my local chinese shown me his version, where same as my base, but he added some yellow chillies ground down or paste, and english mustard.
My mother in law, added eyes of lizard, tongues of toads, giblts of newt, crushed
Caterpillar, and she insisted in dancing around the wok while stirring, to the pleasant
sounds and tones of Blacksabbath, vibrations helped with the mixing apparently.
