I am a wuss at camping and generally only indulge when friends and copious amounts of beer make it necessary.

It'll always have some value if I chose to sell it at some point, and the cost of ownership is minimal so I'm not concerned about its price. Why the 2 week per year limitation? - plenty of long weekends too, and my vacation allowance is currently over 6 weeks anyway

You've got a nice boat for it.

I always got bored of water skiing on 2 skis and was never any good at mono (couldn't water start on one so had to drop a ski and even that was hit and miss at best). Not that I was good at wake-boarding either, but I could jump the wake and do 180's, well at least until our boat caught fire and sank.

I guess the 75 after your name is your age and not your year of birth.

We do the tent thing with the kids (2 tents, one for the kids, one for Mr Chookie and me).

The reason? Partly because it is fun, partly because it is a cheap way of taking the kids on holiday.

We're going down to Fundy with a couple of friends this weekend. We have a tent and usually get an unserviced walk in lot. Plan is to do some hiking, swimming and bbqing.
