In the last few weeks they've just installed those flashing signs along the street I live on to highlight this 40 nonsense.

Just in time for the school holidays...so that'll be useful

They make no sense at all as I'm always going much faster than the 30kph they keep flashing.

I sometimes drive along Hastings. They have signs in the 'meth-head nutter' 30kph zone that tell you how fast you are going. I treat it like a high score.

You can do better than this kind of driveby shit-posting Novo.

passed a whole load of schools in Victoria today and unlike 2 weeks ago I didn't hear a single car horn toot of support. Even the teachers themselves have stopped waiving at passing traffic. There are only a very small handful there at any one time too. They only do a couple of hours a day on the line.

Not a big fan of this strike right now!

Same here, no honking at all today like a week or 2 ago, and less teachers out and the ones out are just in pairs sitting in lawn chairs chatting. Seems more like a vacation the a strike, and they promptly leave at 4pm.
