Default BC fires

I'm rather addicted to checking the okanagan web cams (I like to compare the gorgeous sunshine there to our currently miserable 'summer'in the UK!) and today's look very cloudy. Is it actually cloudy or is it smoke from the fires? It's hard to get accurate news about the fires from here but it all sounds/looks pretty scary!!
Any news from our resident BC dwellers?

It's not cloud, it's smoke. The interior of BC is blanketed in dense white smoke - you can see flakes of ash in the air and visibility is very poor. We had a clearer day on Sunday, but this week has a very poor forecast for any sort of clearing.

Updates on the situation can be found here: B.C. wildfire status Tuesday: Williams Lake remains under evacuation alert | Globalnews.ca

I haven't seen anything about it for a while, and there's nothing in the Oliver Chronicle, but the Kaladen fire might still be burning. B.C.Highway Cams
It seems to get thicker as the cams get closer.

Central Okanagan currently has air quality warning at level 8/10. We can normally see clear across the lake from here (west side), couple of days ago it started to get hard to see where the mountains met the sky, yesterday where the lake met the mountains, now we can barely see the lake itself at all.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about, it's been rather chilly here.

It was smokey in Regina this morning, but clear now. That smoke may have come up from Montana.
