Re: Barry Sherman
I watched the 1st Police announcement/update the other day and that was the most meaningless update ever to what was already known that 2 dead bodies had been found in the home.
Speaking to reporters outside the home on Friday, Det. Brandon Price said that while the deaths were considered "suspicious" they were not yet being treated as homicide.
On Saturday, police remained tight-lipped about the investigation. They have yet to confirm that the Shermans were the deceased, despite the family's statement, and Apotex confirming that its founder Barry Sherman and his wife had died.
Price did confirm there were no signs of forced entry into the home and that police are not searching for any outstanding suspects.
Just based on the above statements speculation arose that it was a murder suicide. UK media reported wife was found hanging in one room and a body in another room.
The family of Apotex founder Barry Sherman and his wife, Honey, are criticizing reports speculating about the cause of the couple's deaths ahead of the release of autopsy findings.
Now you can be a Sherlock Holmes and come to your own conclusions but Im guessing it wasn't Professor Plum in the Library with the candlestick.

Re: Barry Sherman
If police are not looking for suspect, but find the deaths suspicious, I would go with a murder/suicide but then the mention of police not considering it a homicide seems that may not be the case as in a murder suicide there is still 1 homicide.
Or possibly co2 poisoning, suppose that could be deemed suspicious death pending an autopsy.
I had no idea who he was prior to his death, but I do know the company, majority of prescriptions I have had always had Apotex on the label as the manufacturer.

It must be devastating to be only the seventh richest man in Canada, and all that pressure about not being the the sixth simply too much to bear.

He gave a lot of money away to charity most recent was just this year 5m to a Toronto University. They were very generous and never ones to be in the news for it.
It’s very disturbing to hear what happened and hopefully the police can cast some light on this.

Not far from Toronto, there was a huge mansion. The mansion is completely empty except for a dead man hanging from the middle of the central rafter. The rope around his neck is ten feet long and his feet are three feet off the ground. The nearest wall is 20 feet away from the man. It is not possible to climb up the walls or along the rafters. The man hanged himself. How did he do it?
