Any Trump supporters in Canada?

Re: Any Trump supporters in Canada?
So basically Trump is like some other world leaders who also have no clue how to get things done.
Harper did he have a clue? Is Merkel regretting her decisions on refugees? How about Cameron calling the vote on Brexit? Im sure there are hundreds of more examples we could mention. Didn't Congress just override Obama on the 9/11 Victims Bill so did he have a clue when he vetoed this vote?

So how is he the Republican nomination for the President then I wonder if Trump has ever shot a caribou Sarah did. There again Sarah lives in Alaska and Donald doesn't.

The recent polls put Clinton ahead but how accurate are those polls. Kathleen Wynne was voted in as the Ontario big chief, but no one will admit to voting for her ?
My feeling is most of the US will say they are voting for Clinton but when it comes down to the crunch, may actually vote for a change, but say "huh, I voted Clinton, yeh ha"

career politician, business CEO (employee) right down to being the manager of a sports franchise ... they all wear the same suits, put on the same face that most end up fired, leaving a trail of distruction behind them
4-5 years from now, who will be next? Will Obama, or whoever followed - will anyone give a crap?
Will England ever have a successful run at the world cup, even with a revolving door of Managers

Re: Any Trump supporters in Canada?
Well, I know two Canadians who would vote for Trump rather than hold their nose and vote for Clinton. Was in their company last evening and during our regular discussions on the Presidential race they ignore Trump's mysonginistic and racist remarks, preferring to support 'change' and the ditching of the status quo of establishment politics.
Being Conservative myself, with a small 'c' I think I would hold my nose and vote for Clinton and hope that her experience would see the USA on a safer international footing, though I do have concerns she will increase the deficit considerably, a liberal trait I fear.

"My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."
Ring any bells?

Re: Any Trump supporters in Canada?
On that note, after the second debate is it likely Trump will drop out?
I say this for the reason Trump does not take 'ridicule or failure' well. Should the polls show after the second debate that Clinton lead has increased to near 60%, my guess is that Trump will drop out of the race

I hope he wins and I hope everyone understands what their vote means.
This vote is not a joke, remember the public's reaction to brexit the morning after? That oh shit moment.
I found this video quite interesting.

Re: Any Trump supporters in Canada?
MIL and her boy friend are Trump fans and keep pestering me to vote for him. Which I won't.
Based on comments on articles about Trump there seems to be some support in Canada for him.
Trump doesn't seem to have mainstream Republican support so who knows if the Republicans in Congress would support him and Democrats have a good chance at getting the Senate back so if they did and Trump won gridlock for sure.
I don't believe Trump will win, but who knows. My state is strong Clinton and hasn't voted a Republican president since 1988, and there is nearly 0 chance Trump can win California, so I can already say those 55 votes will go to Clinton.
I've received my 9 page ballot and 130 page info booklet, feels like studying for a final in school. Lol California loves voter initiatives things like legalization of pot, various tax increases, death penalty etc on this year.
