I am deleting all the personal comments, and comments regarding admin activities. If people really want to know why anyone was banned, all they have to do is ask a moderator, and without getting into personal details we will try and explain. Discussion in threads is not encouraged.

Finally got a late night chance to check in and find mass deletions of posts.... am gobsmacked.
As BC pointed out - the intention of this thread was a nice trip down memory lane... remember so and so? Whatever happened to him/her/them? A chance to air the odd anecdote about the BE characters we don't see active on the forum any more.
I thought the raison d'etre of 'The Maple Leaf' was to allow some space for off-topic free speech. Is it now finally getting a bit too North Korean here?
As BC pointed out - the intention of this thread was a nice trip down memory lane... remember so and so? Whatever happened to him/her/them? A chance to air the odd anecdote about the BE characters we don't see active on the forum any more.

Off-topic free speech is fine, but you didn't see the posts that were deleted so how can you accuse us of being North Korean when you don't even know what was taken out?!?

I can't recall what i'd written to be honest, but I didn't think it had been bad in anyway, or derogatory to any individual (unless it had been BC or Daz
)
