Interesting. Maybe they will find it works well enough to turn it into a drug and help out for those with MRSA.

Speaking as someone who had a form of that infection, who nearly lost a foot to it, and who now suffers from permanent disabilities that resulted from it I can confirm that it is an absolutely miserable experience. Medical and dental procedures have never bothered me but I went through so much over several months of treatment, and was in such terrible pain for a large portion of that time, that I am now somewhat reluctant to go through procedures that wouldn't even have registered on my radar prior to that experience.
