Default Is Malta bicycle friendly?

Hi everyone,

I love cycling, and I always try to commute by bicycle whenever I can.

i've found London and Tokyo very comfortable to cycle in.

How is Malta for cycling? Are the roads well paved and wide? Is there too much traffic to cycle safely?

Any advice much appreciated.

Steve

No, your bike will get wrecked fairly quickly on the Maltese roads.... its a pot hole country as well as the drivers IMO are worse than in the UK

Thanks for digging out the link ... I also read the comments section, and it seems that their opinions split a little. I just heard that the traffic in Malta can be quite heavy, so it might be easier and cheaper in the long run to commute to work if the distance isn't too much.
