Hi, Hopefully someone can help.

We want to leave to wheely bags in storage in KL for a couple of months whilst we explore the islands with only backpacks. Does anyone know if there is somewhere in KL where we can safely leave our stuff (for a small fee of course).

We contacted Trader's where we'll be staying before we head off. They can only hold them for one month at a time. We'll use this as a fallback if we can't find anywhere else.

Can't help with storage I'm afraid but just wanted to mention that some friends visited Tioman Island this summer and were absolutely enchanted by it. Is it on your list?

Hi InVinoVeritas - Initially we're heading to Perhentian Besar, off the coast of Kota Bharu. We have been before, years ago - lovely beaches and great snorkelling. Good to know about Tioman, will check it out. Thanks!

KLIA has a luggage storage facility but it won't be cheap

Short term storage in lockers in Sentral，nearby you will find YMCA Hotel，they will keep your bags in safe place for weeks。But months?
Another good place:Hotel Geo 1 stop away near ChinaTown。If you prefer to pay - hotels Tune will charge you。
Maybe you could loop back around to KL and pick up your gear for a week or two ans ask the hotel/GH (or a new one) to do it for another few weeks?

Thanks everyone. As we're staying in Traders, we'll leave our stuff there for 4 weeks. RedApe, we've stayed in Geo hotels a few times, nice place - it's close to where our PO Box is and we love China Town.
