Default Lost birth certificate

Hi guys,
My British husband was born in Ipoh region and we have lost his birth certificate but we do have a copy. The malay consulate in Thailand where we lost it said they can't help. The one in London not replying all lines are dead.

Anyone has any idea what we have to do to get it replaced please?
Thanks you!

Oh, that's not very useful! Try phoning and see if they can give you any advice, maybe?

When you say 'British husband' do you mean British at birth or British by naturalisation? Was it a Malay birth certificate that was lost or a British consular birth certificate?
