Good Sale at Island Plaza
There is a furniture sale on a Island Plaza until Sunday.
The sales there don't normally offer much of a discount, and I've found the same stuff for the same price elsewhere. At a couple of the sales I actually found things to be more expensive than other outlets.
So its a bit of a surprise that this furniture sale is offering some pretty good discounts. I bought a 5ft bed with European mattress that's really nice for 999 RM. In fact the bed for 999 RM came with an OK mattress, but I asked if I could have it with a better mattress from another bed which cost 200 RM more. I was willing to pay the 200 more, but they said its ok, you can have the better mattress with that base for 999. So it seems they are willing to do some deals.
The sofas and dinning tables are not that cheap, but the bedding is cheap. I also picked up a nice latex pillow for 199 RM and they gave me a second for free.
