Default coming out to KL

HI all, the old lady and myself are coming for a look around at the end of the Jan, should be there on the or about Monday 28,
We will be looking at houses around Damasara Heights, Brickfields, and bangsar, also looking at schools for the little oldman, any thought we should be asking?? looking out for ??
is there anything going on that week, bank holidays, ect ect
I also hope to have a look at some golf clubs and try to get a quick round in but still working on that any thoughts

Regards

Hi Oldman, there are loads of threads on schools and these can be accessed by using the search function. Questions for schools depends on what you are looking for, for your child. Some of the lesser known 'international' schools have a much higher ratio of non expat teachers. This is a concern for some parents. The main international schools might offer some different subjects in addition to the core curriculum (eg langagues) so you might have a preference here. As you do your tours I would expect to be able to go inside the classroom and speak to a teacher as well. We were not offered this during one of our tours are were a little put off. Look at school bus options if is is relevant to you. The usual stuff.

There are public holidays on Thurs 24th Jan and Fri 1st Feb.

Ps. IMO cross Brickfields off your list of places to look. Try Seputeh instead.
