Default Christmas Day Lunch

Any recommendations for a city centre hotel doing a Christmas lunch or buffet this year? Preferably somewhere with a view and free flow. Can't seem to find much on the major hotel websites.

There seems to be loads in Penang, but I think you're in KL?? But I'm staying at home... humbug.

Suggest you buy this months copy of TimeOut KL which has a section on Xmas day eating.

We did Shangri La a few years back which was noisy but fun! An amazing selection of food but no view and booze was extra..

Hubby & I are going to Shangri-La in Penang this year. Heard lots of good reviews so should be fun.

We're going for lunch which includes free flow wine & beer. Very reasonable price I thought.

Couldn't face going home to the cold weather like we did last year!

Yep, we're KL. will get a copy of time out as suggested. Seems like not many hotels advertise these events on their website. Traders, Sheraton and Shangri La have nothing but crop up in web searches for previous years.

Hi We are going to The Sheraton in KL but not sure of the details as a friend has organised it, i think we are paying 120rm per person all in for food and drink and the kids eat for free! Maybe phone up the Sheraton direct if you are interested.

For anyone in Penang, No Eyed Deer in Fettes Park now has their "festive menu" on till the end of the year. You can see here

I rather like the look of the roast chicken with cranberry jelly
