Just been into Tesco for first time in ages. Carlsberg RM54 for 12 (with a free glass) and Tiger RM108 for 24. Best prices I think I've ever seen. Needless to say I used the Christmas excuse to stock up!

So, by deductive reasoning, Carlsberg = RM108 + 2 free glasses for 24? Just call me Sherlock (I prefer that to Shylock!). (and prefer wine to beer!)

(the latter is entitled "drinking pals", but I think you thought it was beer, and someone else thought it was electric toothbrushes, IIRC!) either way, sounds good to me!

Re: The Beer Thread
Hi all, what are rules about home brew? Is that a stupid question? I haven't researched, just chipped in as a newbie. If PET bottles, yeast, sugar and Apple juice available to buy in ten days you can have mean turbo cider.

Mmm I wouldn't have thought it would be allowed. Alcohol is heavily taxed so....if Gov was missing out on the tax....

Carlsberg and Guinness on offer in Tesco. Personally, I'm not a fan of tinned G but someone might fancy a tipple for the New Year.
