I got the Beatles to send my sister a postcard, which they all signed. I'm pretty sure she still has it.

I met Lanny McDonald (any Canadian my age or older will know who he is) in about 1983. I was so excited I could barely speak.

Two years ago I was nearly a baker on the Great Australian Bakeoff. I got as far as the second -on camera - audition. The judges loved my pear, blue cheese and walnut tarte tatin.

Some might say I've have more falls from grace (a lovely girl)... than claims to fame.
What may count is having my photo on the front page of the Bristol Evening Post.
Spoiler:
Have you ever been 'famous' for five mins?-concordenewsclip1969.jpg

Some say that the same evening newspaper made excellent toilet paper, so a hidden claim to fame is that I probably tickled someone's fancy........!

Those are almost incongruous. Promoting the not wearing of clothes and the washing of clothes.

Maybe would work for people who only own one set of clothes? Like those porn videos where the girl spills ice cream on her clothing etc, immediately goes to the laundry room ...

It was to claim that wearing clothes washed in Persil Aloe Vera felt just like wearing nothing, it was so soft to the skin.

One of the adverts is here, note, no nudity in article.

Ah, yes I am the anatomically correct gingerbread maker. But sadly my tarte was of the circular variety. The bakeoff was serious baking and not just for fun.

As a side note, I felt like making marshmallows on Sunday. This week we have salted caramel flavour.
