booing is not sportsmanlike and certainly has no place on a golf course.

Its the Ryder cup, if you had watched as many as I have in the US and Europe you will know that it is nothing unusual or exceptional.

Tense finish. Need Westwood & Willett to next this and tee us up just behind the Yanks tomorrow.

I expect the Yank over confidence to lead to their normal final day implosion. Fingers crossed.

Well done the Yanks! and also well done the majority of the american fans. Unfortunate for the sport that the organisers allowed the thug element to tarnish the good name of the sport.

The best side won by a long way.
The European tour does have to look at the criteria for selection,
Winning a load of money 12 months before the competition and then not doing a lot for the rest of the year should not result in automatic selection.
Performance in the months leading up to the Ryder cup should become more important.
Andy Sullivan, Danny Willet and Lee Westwood did not get 1 point between them.
Time for a rethink.

Well, perhaps there will be no Brits next time, the European team play under the EU flag, but the UK will NOT be in the EU, or at least well on the way to leaving, so how can they play under the EU flag?

Well change it back to how it was supposed to be US vs GB.

I don't think the Euros were even part of until around 1979.

Get rid of the Euros (and Rory too can't stand him).

Why was it changed because the GB and Ireland golf team had a worse record even than the England football team.
Who were the 3 worse performers, English players.

Its a contest between the European Tour and the PGA.

Sullivan is a youngster.

I thought Westwood and Kaymer should probably have made way for a couple of others.

I don't see how you could leave out Danny Willett who had won a major this season. Granted he had a bad week but that's golf.

The Americans on paper had a stronger team, finally delivered and were overdue a bit of luck.

It was a decent contest and already looking forward to the next one.

Winning in April or earlier and then having little form for the rest of the year but getting automatic team selection has to be changed.
You need 12 players who are close to their best when it is time to play.
