Agree. O'Gara's decision to kick, chase and flatten a Safa in the last Lions tour (2nd test) in essence ended the tour. Unforgivable and hugely overrated player.

BOD is magical when he wants / can but can't be relied on much longer.

Still, great win for us English and glad to see Farrell getting some respect for his game other than just kicking. Still think Danny Care should start at 9 instead of Ben Youngs, but such is.

Don't disagree but it is a 50/50 call for me and Youngs is in possession at the moment but it is good that England have the choice. Take Wales for example they have no scrum halves and have to play a blindside flanker at 9

PS I managed to get a ticket for the wooden spoon decider in Rome on Saturday

Yeah, fair shout. I'm a Quins fan and biased. I think Care maybe creates a bit more and will pick up and run etc.

Lucky git.

5 Ulster players have been chosen according to the BBC. Considering how impressive they have been this season it makes sense.

Yes, it DOES make sense, but Kidney has long been considered biased against Ulster-based players in his selections for the Ireland squad, so the consensus amongst Ulster rugby fans is that his hand is now being somewhat forced by a) Ulster's outstanding form making further omissions GLARINGLY obvious and b) injuries/general crapness of 'others' he would have preferred (take a bow, O'Gara... ).

Hopefully young lads like Paddy Jackson can really make a positive impact, if given a chance, at Murrayfield on Saturday and give Kidney some selection dilemmas for the rest of the tournament...

OK is is raining cats and dogs here in Rome, which should see a clear advantage to Welsh brute force over Italian skill and flair especially with Parisse banned. Wales to win by 60 points.

Clearly a resurgent France will take England apart at Twickers probably by more than 20 points.

The Scottish back 3 will be too fast and skillful for an aginng Ireland side putting 15 points on them.

Those are the predictions of the world's worst Rugby pundit

Right where are my wetties and umbrella? Forza Italia!

Anyone else got a bad feeling that England will hand this game to the frogs?

Think the substitutions made the difference for England. Our bench was far better than Frances, roll on Italy

Oh yeah, look at the difference in scrums.

Also, to be able to bring the premiership winning scrum half hero Danny 'God among men' Care isn't a bad start.

Then there is Haskell, who is a monster of a man.

Hartley? Did he start on the bench?

It's strong, England have a strong 18/19 rather than just 15.

Hartley started and was replaced by Youngsabout 10 mins into 2nd half.

Got to a pub to watch it after Italy game and sat with a Frenchman who described bringing on Michelak as a reverse impact substitution. Soon as he came on the Frenchman said congratulations you will win now

Their subs weakened their team whilst ours strenghened ours
