I had read a few weeks back that he might be going to Forest.

Nowt wrong with that plan.... Giggs needs to learn his trade at the 'coal face', and if he's good enough, Old Trafford will welcome his return to the top job.

Others such as Bruce, Hughes and Neville have now tried their hand at it, some with more success than others, but until they prove themselves elsewhere, they can't hope to get the United job.

But didn't Van Moyes and Van Gaal prove themselves at other clubs?

Maybe it's time to try someone different if Mourinho doesn't work out. Maybe Tim Oldfield.....

Last time I checked, 'van Moyes' and van Gaal were NOT former United players....

My apologies.

I thought we were referring to Giggs et all as future Utd managers. I missed the former Utd player reference

Whatever. Just wondering are you still happy with Wenger as your manager?

I see Tevez has turned down a return to West Ham because he wants 250K a week. The same guy that moaned the whole time about wanting to go back to Argentina at every damn club he's been at. Why on Earth would anyone want him? You may as well put in an offer for Balotelli instead if you want a pain in the arse striker, he'd be cheaper.

It's like Bestie Mark II.... his days are numbered unless he gets himself sorted out soon... some people are claiming he 'needs help'.... unfortunately all the help he's had in the past seems to have made little or no difference to how he's leading his life now, and the only person who can help Gazza IS Gazza.... I hope the lad 'catches himself on', but it seems to be a rare thing now for an alcoholic celebrity like him to really beat the addiction.... very sad to see him in this shape, very sad.

Now Ed, you know it's not about the result. It's all about the character.
