Right?

Now, granted, I've heard Mane might be pretty decent, but at this rate Southampton should give us one of those little punch cards, so we can get our 10th player for free

Interestingly, you might be our feeder club as we're supposed to after Mata and Schneiderlin.

Er, selling you two players who our new manager DOESN'T actually want couldn't really be construed as 'feeding', more like 'off-loading'..... but I know it's been 35 years since your lot were in these giddy market 'heights', so knock yourself out...

He's alright but that price point was a little lofty.

The price is the only saving grace from my Irish and Londoner Liverpool fan pals.

It's pretty depressing.

Also. WHo the **** sigend Redmond? We don't have a bloody manager.

You do now. Don't really know anything about Puel personally. But you've got a decent record of bringing in quality managers, so I'm sure it will work out.

P.S. Can we have Pelle?

I'd rather keep that sexy lump if you don't mind mate.

I know next to zilch about him, apart from studying his wikipedia the other day which included the fact he's never left France, has been pretty average at Nice (no idea if they're good or not) but did well with Lyon in the Champs League.

He might be a great fit, in reality I know the club work hard to get the 'right guy'. Hopefully he was first choice (although surely Unai Emery was if we thought we could lure him - unlikely).

Anyway. Who wants him next then? Spurs? Chelsea? West Ham?

The Echo even had an article pointing out that Lpool Southampton isnt the biggest PL transfer route. (I think it was Lpool WHU, but mostly to London). You know there must be a lot, when they have an article saying other routes have more.

In recent seasons, it certainly seems like the biggest.

Revealed: The club Liverpool do transfer business with the most - and it's NOT Southampton

West Ham also seem to be the club Arsenal have sold the most players to.

So Giggs has buggered off from Man Utd because Jose didn't want him on the bench. I guess he'll be going to managed a lower division team like Bury or Tranmere or West Ham. Then once Jose pisses everyone off at Old Trafford and is given the boot after a couple of years he'll be back to take the big job.
