Default Andy Murray, World No 1

Andy Murray has been crowned world No 1 male tennis player after he reached the Paris final. He becomes the first British No 1 since the rankings were introduced.

Fantastic year for Murray - 3 of 4 Grand Slam finals, Wimbledon champion, Olympic gold, several other titles and now World No.1.

Probably nailed on for BBC SPOTY too :-)

Well done lad, take a bow. Would like to see him now win a couple more Grand Slams.

Congratulations to him.

He has worked hard and deserves it amongst his many other accolades.

Still world No1 but has now added a record third BBC Sports Personality award to his list, no-one before has managed to get three
