Default Thunderbird/IMAP

Anyone having a problem today?

Thunderbird was fine from when installed on my new laptop two weeks ago to when I last used it at 10.30 Atlantic time this morning but some time later it stopped connecting to the server. All other internet is fine.

Some months ago, I installed it on an all-in-one that I barely use now and it's exactly the same set up with IMAP as installed on the laptop. Neither are connecting, so it doesn't seem an issue for my laptop.

My previous laptop, still with Outlook (Office 2007) is connecting but it's pop1.

Is it likely an issue with IMAP servers? It's not been connecting for around 3 hours.

edited to add...actually, Outlook isn't going either. I may have missed the error message earlier.

wi-fi internet still going.....edited to add...actually, Outlook isn't going either. I may have missed the error message earlier.
