Rural Hungary

I'm going to start a photo tour thread in the hope that you will all be motivated to add, on a semi regular basis, photos of your part of Hungary - I'm thinking along the lines of the "real Hungary". By that I mean the beauty that we all see everyday but also the real day to day things that catch our interest. Not sure whether to add it in here or on the main part of the forum, what do you think?

The trouble with 'Stickies' is that they get read for a while and then people forget to check them out. Seen it so many times.

Photo threads are always a great idea for regulars and possible newbies looking in .

Best place is probably the main forum where more people will lurk and post.

Is the wow for the magnificence of the animal or the audacity of Peter's implication that Cathy is a bull

I was thinking it might get lost in the main forum as new threads are added - despite initially thinking it would be the best place as hopefully it will serve as a photo guide to different parts of the country. However, yet more thinking (hmm beginning to suspect I think too much ) and I'm sure enough people will post on it to keep it going in the main section but if it does eventually "go dead" then it could maybe be made a sticky?

What do you all think about a couple of basic rules?

1. Maximum one photo per poster per day otherwise new photos might get quickly swamped.
   
2. Only photos of places in Hungary or directly related to Hungarian culture.
   
3. All photos must be the posters own to avoid copyright issues.

Good idea, perhaps link to Gmaps or for those who might find that difficult, a short description including where it was taken.

Do you mean hosting elsewhere and using the add an image option?

The easiest way I find is to attach the photo but I think either would do, I must admit I do prefer to view a photo thread if the images are a decent, but not overly large, size instead of just a thumbnail.

I find it easier to upload photos directly from my pc rather than load them to my Photobucket account and then upload them from there

Whatever works will be good, hope we get some photos of your home brewery, I'm sure that would be cultural
