Where are you based - do you have a visa to enable you to work in other countries?

Note that it's a lot more complicated for most countries than you simply getting a visa - the employer generally has to do something as well. For example, for Canada you'd need a LMIA before you could get a work permit, this is something that the employer has to apply for (at a cost to them of $1000), to prove that the job has been advertised across Canada and they've been unable to find a Canadian to do it. This can take around 3-4 months and only then could you apply for the work permit.

So just be aware that it may not be as simple as you just offered to get a visa! Depending on where you go to of course.

Best of luck.

You may be interested in the Canterbury Rebuild here in New Zealand.

Perhaps contact Opportunity Canterbury
or Canstaff NZ to see if there are any vacancies.

Please take the time to re-read Site Rule 13, 'bumping' your thread really isn't on I'm afraid.

But put simply, you're not going to get a job fall in to your lap by posting on the internet, you need to get out there and job hunt in person or pick up the phone at the very least.

Very few companies will hire somebody from abroad with no knowledge of them (regardless of their experience), you need to make contacts and use those to help. There are lots of article on how to go about this in the Canadian section of the Wiki, and I'd imagine that the advice will ring true for many other countries as well.

Figure out which country you want to move to, and then start phoning round and ideally visiting in person, and hopefully you'll get that all important job offer. It's just not realistic to expect a job offer to come to you in the UK unless you have very specialist skills, particularly if an employer needs to spend thousands on a visa application/sponsorship to hire you over local candidates. Get networking!

Good luck.

No probs. As mentioned above, there's loads of job hunting info in the Wiki, so grab a cuppa and get reading.

Good luck.
