Hmm! i to have sent to his email a while back (not a link from this community) and had a reply back stating he will ring me but ziltch so he got my cv for his database. Should have known since ive contracted most of my life and this is the path most agencies do and promise the world and just give you enough to trust him a little but the let down is usuall and common.
Remember all agents within the agencies are looking for a healthy recruitment database and out of a pool of about ten guys they get on there books probably one gets a position.

Sorry but been let down to many times

Denise,

I have changed my handle name. Dont worry about it now.

Since I/We have your attention.

Please tell us, do you use the funnel effect, also what policy do you use regards replies.

I understand non-replying to some candidates, but I also find some agencies do offer you a right load of crap, downgrading your skills and experince to get you in crap jobs.

Denise Cole is an unknown quantity at this point

When I first started this thread I had never used a chat forum before - I had absolutely no idea how many responses I would get and I very niaively put my business email address and the company I work for.. I have not hidden behind a 'hotmail' account...

To be totally honest I have been completely inundated with responses most of which have contacted me directly. I have tried to contact everyone who has emailed or messaged me.. .even those who have just sent an copy of a CV and said "what do you think???"...

Unfortunately some of you have slipped throught the net... I'm reallly sorry about this but with over 4000 people wanting to get out of UK every week there is a lot of interest here... (luckily I am not getting all of them) Now thats not to say that I don't care... I do.. but a polite "hey I emailed you any news" is way better than a public flogging 4 months later!...

Please, Please check the latest MODL list.... we will only able to try and help you if your skills are on the list or you can get a family visa etc....

I appreciate that this is frustrating for you, but I can't help everyone.... I don't specialise in 'all' areas... and I don't have all the answers

I don't feel its fair to asume all Recruiters are the same.... as I don't believe all candiates are the same .... I don't use a funnel effect (whatever that is) ... and I don't make a decision on who can get employed... and down grade skills to push someone in a role.... the knock on effect of that is that the person will leave and the role will have to be replaced... (we work on a 6mth to 1 year guarantee period) especially with overseas placements

Sorry that you have been burnt before.... Unfortunately our Clients have been burned also with changes of heart once relocation is about to commence.....

There are a number of people I am currently working with here and some I have hopefully pointed in the right direction....I would like to continue to help where I can

I'm hoping this both explains and apologises to anyone I have missed out. Unfortunately, I don't have have a reply system in place that just loads up my database and sends out a standard letter...

Best wishes and thanks for reading this
