Question international schools in Tokyo area

Hoping to find some advice regarding international schools in Tokyo area for our son. He's only one at the moment, but need to plan ahead. Obviously we have checked the website of a few including the British School, but would really appreciate any first hand experience. Many thanks.

I had a teaching offer from KAIS International School in central Tokyo. I have yet to decide whether to take the position for personal reasons.
While it caters more to local students rather than international ones, it appears to have a number of excellent innovative programmes and had a great review in Newsweek magazine.:
