Default Father's pictures from WWII, trying to sort

My dad passed away early this year, and I am trying to put his pictures in some sort of order. He was a tail gunner on Lancasters for the RAF during the war, then stationed in Bombay/Madras for nine months before he was sent to Japan to join the British Commonwealth of Occupational Forces. There are a couple of pics that have buildings with the large letters NKSK on their roof. Does anyone know where this was or what this stands for? It could be in India or Japan.

Depending on how long he was in Japan for it could stand for 'Nihon kankō shikiso kenkyūjo' or '日本感光色素研究所' (roughly 'Japanese Research Institute for Photosensitive Dyes') which was a company founded in 1947 to develop photosensitive dyes for photography applications.

This is their website: http://www.kankohsha.co.jp/

Welcome to BE.

I have moved your thread into our Japan forum. If you don't receive many replies I will move it to the India forum. Good luck.
