Re: Earthquake and Tsunami
I'm watching it on TV .... It looks absolutely terrible. I just watched a whole town swept away by a huge wave. It just collapsed as the wave ran through.
Our thoughts are with them, but words fail me watching it :-(

My thoughts are will all of those affected in Japan.
I just wish there was something that I could do to help.

It's truly terrible. For some in New Zealand it's a double blow . Family here and family there.
It's heartbreaking .

Re: Earthquake and Tsunami
I am registered with the British Embassy here, and have received three updates from them.
Cebu is well sheltered, protected by other islands, and the Mainland of Asia. The fishermen did bring in their boats though.
Thoughts are with the Japanese, and the ongoing problems they face.

Re: Earthquake and Tsunami
Just been to Fukushima and Tohoku Area. I am an architect and urbanist and have been really shocked by the damage, but I also admired the courage and strength of the people there.
I now live in Italy but am originally from Japan. I also lived several years in the UK, hence reading this threads.
I hope things will get better and get back to normal.
People from Fukushima need a lot of help. Especially from a psychological and emotional point of view. Please help if you live close and if you can.
You can also help by visiting this amazing and beautiful regions.
If you have personal stories about the tsunami/quake/nuclear accident I'd love to hear more from you.
