Teaching English
Hi All, thanks in advance...
I'm looking for opportunities for teaching English in the Milan-ish area (where I am living). I am TEFL certified and am applying to various language schools in the city - but can anyone offer me an insider's tip?!
And, anyone fancy a pint?
All the best,oz.

Its well worth submitting your CV to companies as well as schools. Many companies pay for their employees to learn English for obvious commercial reasons and they usally pay more as well. If you have any friends who work for big companies in the Milan area, get them to drop your CV to the right person. (Its who you know etc).
Good luck

Make sure your classroom management skills are fab! These little buggers talk and talk and talk in class - often in Italian which is not what they are supposed to be doing in class!
Shouting out is common too and earplugs are not an option..sadly..lol
