Default Recommendations for Laptop insurance

We've recently moved to Italy and are working from here using our work owned Laptops. As our business insurance doesn't cover overseas workers I need to find insurance in Italy to cover them.

The laptops are more than 3 months old (one of the requirements from one broker to insure), one is about 3 years old and the other is about a year old.

We don't own a house (currently) and are renting.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Open an interest bearing account , and place a sum there monthly, then when you lose it, or want a new one use the funds... Cheaper and guarantees a payout. Dont lease or rent, it just costs more money and heartache.

Insurance replaces on value, a 3 year laptop is worthless, the data it contains however may definitely not be but is practically uninsurable. Before i retired, i retired all a firms laptops in favour of ipads and cloud storage in office 365. Much cheaper, safer, and more loved by the users.

NB because office 365 works on any platform anywhere you actually don't have to buy staff anything just give them some money in rheir salaries and let them buy their own toys, The firm just provides infrastructure and any specialized applications.

Consider what happens when there's a serious problem with the laptop abroad it's owned by the company and tied to its infrastructure, who do they take it to, who fixes it? Avoid the problem entirely and just have devices that are inherently secure, that the users want to own themselves and to cherish for their own purposes as well.

Thanks uk_grenada but as I'm a web developer I need a high powered laptop. A requirement is that its insured so I'm looking for insurance. The business will pay for the insurance.
