Default Property Shows on Italian TV?

Are there any Italian programmes similar to the UK programme 'A Place in the Sun? What I'm thinking about are programmes that show Italians different places to live in the world.

I've never seen anything like this on Italian TV but I only get to see Italian TV every so often so thought I'd ask in case I'm missing something

No. Obviously Italians wouldnt want to live anywhere else but in Italy - so there are lots of programmes about buying homes in Italy, and very occasionally an episode where they may go to Nice or Barcellona, but if its not a ski resort it must be rigorously sunny and Mediterranean.

There is one. Paola something or other did a series overseas. Only watched a couple because all the families seemed to have ridiculous amounts of money to spend.

That woman is odious. She's even worse on that horribly patronising ......... chi si scorda la seconda casa. I have friends who dream about a first, tiny, first home let alone a second holiday house so I don't watch. I watched one programme and the buyers had about half a million euro to buy a little pad in Venice, Fcxk that.

Lorna, think of it as property porn. Two people who want a 3 day holiday somewhere nice, and just have to oo and aah about cotto floors, but have no intention of buying, and Paola wafting around like the Queen and being vile to to the flunkies. Nobody actually buys a house they've seen, and to be honest, most of the houses on the programmes arent even for sale.... However, nothingmatche up to an American show where the US team want people who have already bought a house, to pretend to go looking with them and then 'buy' the house which is already theirs.... Illegal in UK tv law.
