Re: Properties in Calabria
I’m Italian journalist and I live in Isca Marina in Summer, I hope you have no problems to came here. About SanRocco2 I kown for sure that they have all planning permission from march 2007. The works go very well, the apartments are built at 60% .
A few days ago it was open a winter olimpionic swimming-pool near San Rocco2, near the sea, with bar, shops, etc.
The locals are waiting for you, a lot of them are studying English ( like me).
Regards
Thanks for the positive comments. Its great to feel wanted!

Hi Paulo,
Good to hear from you. Your English is very good, hopefully my Italian will be half as good in about 20 years time!
Regarding the swimming pool,is that the big building behind the development?
If I remember correctly it had a green roof.
Keep in touch.
Ciao

Hi Jeff,
Yes, the swimming pool is behind the development of San Rocco2 and Isca Dream.
Additionally, they are building a restaurant behind the sea in a beautiful Vip Sporting Club,
Your can learn Calabrian, our regional dialect.
Ciao e a presto!

Help Phil
I'm sorry, I tried to understand but I didn't: what does it mean "to install air con" in the Isca/Soverato area?

Hi Paulo.
Can you tell me how far San Rocco 11 is from the village of Santa Caterina Ionio? I understand they are planning to construct a golf course there on the Borgo Ferri Estate which might improve our rental prospects if it's not too far away.
Also any news on the new motorway and how long will it take to drive from the Airport when it's finished.
Cheers.

Thanks Paulo.
Sounds promising. I'll have to pop over for a long weekend next spring or summer to see how it's all coming together.

Re: Properties in Calabria
Dear Mel
I have no idea about the properties available in Calabria, but you can find them easily on internet, but be careful on buying in Italy, the conveyancing procedure could be hard and involving pitfalls. I am a solicitor sole-practitioner and I am buying in Tuscany now. Because of some troubles with the buyer and the planning permission I had to retain an Italian lawyer (based in Milan ( www.italianlawfirm.co.uk) who helped me in the procedure and in february I 'll come to an end, finally.
Good luck Phil

Hello all
Anybody buying ( or thinking of buying) a property on one of the new developments in Calabria ?
If so could you please let me have your thoughts on the area and the properties that are available.
Any tips, suggestions and the best location.............or where to avoid.
Thanks
Mel
