Re: Moving money back
I wasn't charged a cent by Banco di Napoli when I moved money out to Italy, nor was I charged a cent when I moved it back to my UK based money exchanging account.

Re: Moving money back
I've been moving in sums of 5000 to 12000 (Fineco has a limit of 12000 for each transfer) and I haven't had any problems. The total of the sums is less than 50K.
However, OH will be moving over 50k. Can you tell me how to avoid having problems. It's unlikely that he'll move 50k at once - it'll be done in smaller chunks, so would this make it ok? Is there a certain amount in a certain time frame which can be moved?
Thanks.

Ariel,
Good morning to you. Check with HSBC as to their limits, bottom line is that the Govt also get involved at a certain amount due to tax evasion etc
Good luck Kenny
