Minimum balance when applying for Residency?

Minimum balance when applying for Residency?
Hi. When applying for Italian residency & supplying proof of my available uk bank funds, what is the minimum amount I have to show? Is this the same figure when you are opening an Italian bank account?

6-7 thousand Euro per adult, not too sure about children. No, nothing to do with any Italy bank account.

Its just ver 6000 for a single adult, 8 and a bit for a couple, 11 for 3 people, and 14 for 4. For an adult with 2 kids under 14 its 10.500 . Or thereabouts.
