Hey everyone,

I recently went through the gauntlet of getting my UK licence converted to an Italian one and was given a paper placeholder until my photocard is ready.

As you can probably guess from the title of this thread I have gone and lost it!

Is my local motorizzazione able to give me a replacement or do I have to go through the whole process again to get another one?

I'm going to see them on Tuesday morning anyway but I thought I would see what information I could get before going.

Thanks a bunch everyone, anything you can tell me (including how much of an idiot I am) would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry because motorizzazione have all the details. Just take some id with you to the office. You need that bit of paper in case the police stop you on the road.

first of all you have to go to the local police office to declare that you lost it "denuncia di smarrimento". Hence with that paper you can go at the local "motorizzazione" and apply for a duplicate.
