Arrow Inps Reimburse

Dear All,

I have been in Italy for 4 years and I paid INPS contribution during this period.
Since I will not stay in Italy anymore, I want to know if I can get back and reimburse the contributions which I've already paid.
I am from a non-EU country which does not have any agreement with Italy in order to transfer the pension to my country of origin.

Thank You,

Hi Sunnynight welcome.

There is a recent discussion on pension and INPS here, which you might want to read:

My understanding, as a non-expert, is that they are unlikely to reimburse you although you may be entitled to a very small pension in your 60s. Others will perhaps know more!

I'm afraid that my understanding, also as a non-expert, is that you'll get nothing. Document http://www.inps.it/portale/default.a...Nodo=5671&p1=2 explains in the paragraph "Pensione Di Vecchiaia"(if I have read it correctly) that you need a minimum of 20 years contributions to qualify for any payout.

Now this is fundamentally unfair, I admit, and things may well change in the future. Although they may not .....

Nope .. no way you will get money back.

In theory your contributi also pay for any National Health tretament you may have had, so prove that you didn't even go to a doctor and you might be in with a chance!
