I am glad to say that this year we are keeping all of the Holy Week and Easter services in English. The services are Roman Catholic but everyone is welcome to join us.

We have been given use of the ancient church of St Anna in Via Sant'Anna, Ceglie Messapica. This old church has the original frescos on the walls. The church is 400 years old (the original church was built in the 12th century).

The details of the various services are:

PALM SUNDAY 11.15am – Blessing of Palms and
(13 April) Holy Mass


Maundy Thursday 8.00pm – Mass of the Lords Supper & Washing of feet. Watch to Midnight
(17 April )

Good Friday 3pm – The Passion of the Lord
(18 April)

Easter - The Resurrection of the Lord

Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil – 8pm
(19 April)

Easter Sunday - Mass of the Resurrection
(20 April)

Please publicise this if you can. It would really help if you can download the poster and get it put up in places where English speakers visit such as local bars and Restaurants.

We have mass in English at St Anna each Sunday at 7pm.
