Think this was actually published in May of last year and primarily refers to the year 2012.
Nevertheless some interesting pointers:
Total sales in 2012 running at a similar level to 1995.
Calabria, Molise & Basillicato the cheapest regions for property.
Lazio, Liguria & Toscano the most expensive.
Lots of other useful information at least for nerds like me.
