UK Citzen web developer considering work in Hong Kong
I've got about 4-5 years of experience in web development. My partner is mainland Chinese and we are looking to marry this August. However, the concern lies in how and where we will live.
She does not want to come back to the UK to live and work. She wants her children to be able to speak and write Chinese and English and feels a Chinese speaking country will offer this.
I am concerned about the job market in Hong Kong for web developers and the wage difference from what I could be earning in the UK. I am considering starting my own business up in HK and the UK and trying to do business between the two countries.

I come from Hong Kong. We have many web developers job here. However, I guess it's a bit difficult to find a job if you don't speak Cantonese/Mandarin.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Hey Zeezack,
I'm thinking along similar lines. How are things working out? Have you found any good resources?
Cheers.
