Default Job Prospects.

Hi,

I'm new to the site and am looking for info on job prospects in Melbourne.
I have been nominated for a STNI visa by the SMU Vic and have been successfully accessed by ACS (Systems programmer Group A) and the TRS (Electronic equipment tradesperson) but am a bit concerned regarding job opportunities.
Am currently employed as a Systems Engineer with key skills - Unix admin, Database admin, NT admin and Nerworking(cisco), have a degree in IT and am HP-UX certified. Also have over 10yrs experience as a Electronics technician.
Any advise or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mate of mine with similar (IT) came over last week, got 2 jobs lined up already. You'll be right.

Thanks for that, its reassuring to hear that as it's a bit of a concern, especially migrating with a family.

Cheers
