Did you ever get anywhere with finding sponsorship from employers or agencies for packaging jobs?
There always seems jobs available but the answer's always '...contact us when you get here'?!?!

I received two job offers - over 100K/annum - without even stepping a foot in Australia. However, I had to let them go as they were not ready for 457 Visa Sponsorship given the processing time and the policies of the organisation.
I offered to reimburse all the money spent in sponsorship and had all documents needed for a temporary work visa ready - no luck !!!
457 Visa sponsorship is almost impossible - no matter how hard one tries
