of alcohol, we will be stacked with duty-free to sit and watch over the lake while waiting for the MM2H renewal.
The dilemma therefore becomes...should we get wet on the outside......or on the inside?

Tell you what, we have just had the scariest squall I've seen in Penang tonight. Trees down everywhere, a bit of the UMNO building dropped off

Time you visited Bali then K. In the southern hemisphere we are entering the dry, cooler season, which should get better and better till October.
I hear your pain about those tropical storms...very scary...hope you are OK.

Seems I may have made the wrong prediction in my above post #20.
Today's Jakarta Post reports the met office saying...
The dry season should start in May but, with different ocean temps and wind patters, the wet season is prolonged. This is affecting tobacco plantations and food products the most and will cause more Aedes Aegypti (the mosquito that breeds Dengue fever)
I believe Vancouver weather is fine but I sold out there!!!

Yes we're OK. There's a helluva lot of damage, mainly trees uprooted. One of Penang's worst storms apparently. Don't need too many of those.

If I ever make it to Bali, I'll let you know
