Seems like many recent posters have a penchant for cake...indeed, I'd say....overwhelming desires. So I looked up the dictionary for cake....

As this is an Indonesian forum may I remind members that Nusa Kambangan is a very pretty island off the coast of Central Java...but it aint a resort, although, I believe, breakfast is free....that's if you stay there long enough...

Just noticed in my stash I've 2 litres of Grand Marnier.... so opened one and tried...kinda sweet.

In my yachting life in Pacific NorthWest I've met many grand Mariners...they drink a lot and I'm sure would love to meet a Yorkshire lass with hollow legs.

Problem I have is ...which one of the above do you want me to line-up>>>

You're welcome to drink as I don't think Grand Marnier is used in cooking...Oh! maybe to top-off ice cream!
We had a bottle of Baileys for that....but it turned sour. Such a waste.

Nice to meet you too. Hope you stick around TIO. Getting sent there isn't punishment, it just means the thread is more suitable to the environment in there (which is a good thing because it's a bit more relaxed than the country forums).

Hollow legs are great, Davita, unless she takes them off at night and hangs them on the end of the bed

It used to be a badge of honour if your thread got moved into TIO. Believe it or not people on some of the BE forums freely admitted they were too scared to post in The Lounge and TIO. They just couldn't stand the heat.

I kind of stuck to the Trailer Park and USA forums myself for a while before I moved across into the lounge, then into TIO, once I'd established myself to the point where I felt I had earned the right to post among the regulars in there.

I did the same...best to get to know the players before jumping in at the deep end. In those days TIO and The Lounge were quite fearsome forums...Leslie, Ray etc would chew people up and spit them out. It's nothing like that now.

TBH if a new member jumps straight into TIO...99% of the time they are trolling. Sometimes I leave them alone for the regulars to play with...until they get too tiresome.

It's not for lack of trying though, I don't know why but for some reason nobody seems to want to post in TIO anymore, it all seems to be confined to the country-specific off topic forums and any time a thread is moved into general TIO, it is taken as a slight
