Balinese Birds
Just back from a few days Bali.
Beautiful birds. What’s not to like?!
Pic 1 A Spotted Dove
Pics 4&6 I think this is a Black-Crowned Night Heron. I was very lucky to spot her resting in the tree.
Pic 8 A Pond Heron.
Pic 9 A White Heron. Sadly I only had my phone camera that time.

That's for sure...hati hati.
Better to follow JC3's adventures in Indonesia...or even mine (see post #3) rather than this....

Re: Balinese Birds
hahaha...you are probably correct and I bow to your superior knowledge and photos of lovely birds.
I was an aviator, not an aviarist, so aware that Titties and Tatas are members of the Mammary family.... but recall that the Hooters belong to the Knocker group...
There is a difference..some are bigger than others..

oh, I didn't realise you were using a Fibonacci numbering sequence. So what is the bird in the middle, lah?

Steady, such questions could lead me astray.
I replied, read the Site Rules again, and hit delete.
What photos are you looking at?!
Oh well, here’s a different answer to your question.
Ah yes, ...here we are, photo No. 6.

Re: Balinese Birds
I came across this:-
Believed to be monogamous, the males perform an elaborate courtship ritual during breeding season, and present sticks to their chosen female. When the pair bond is formed, their legs blush a pinkish-red.
Cue Davita...

Re: Balinese Birds
However, if my legs ever blush pinkish-red I'll call those Bali Birds. I heard they nest in the Sky Garden in Kuta.....maybe JC3 went birdwatching there on his recent visit...
