can any one give some advice on visas.
a re-entry stamp be needed

A friend of mine, is going to Dubai, for 7 weeks, She has a British passport, and has already visited India once this year, She is still within the two months that are needed between visits. looking on the travel sites for prices, for the flights to Dubai, she has found that the cheapest way to travel is London heathrow, to Mumbai, then to Goa, then a direct flight from Goa to Dubai. the timings all meet up meaning she dosent have to stay overnight anywhere, or spend more than 4 hours on any airports.
She still has a valid tourist visa for India, she exited India on 01/02/2012 so she is still inside the 2 month rule, will she be allowed to travel through India on this visa?
Complicated I know

Assuming she has returned home to e.g. UK then the answer is no.

Hi Gayleanne
I think the answer to your question is no.
In order to revisit India under any circumstances within the 2 months, your friend would have to seek special dispensation via the consulate and she would have had to produce travel itinery details prior to her first trip to India.
The Indian commission are not flexible in respect of this.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but welcome to BE and the India forum.
