Not sure "Hop" on is the right word!! more like 'dragged' on with the masses, and getting off at the right station is an adventure. Sundays are less horrific.
Non-ac buses are a more comfortable cheap option, and bus passes are now available for variable periods.

March wont be too hot.8th march is festival of colours(HOLI).so if you are not allergic to colours ,it would be fun.

try some seafood at sayba in bandra.aqsa beach in malad, nice tranquil beach to relax but not safe for a swim.

Coloaba causeway for cheap stuff but if you are looking to buy some ethnic indian stuff,i know a good place in Kurla.

obviously holi if you havent played it before.
Everything depends on how many hours ,you will be working..3 days might be too less...

Thanks for the tips! I will certainly look forward to HOLI. Not sure if I am allergic or not ! Haven't tried it before.
And yes, three days will be less and I think I'll have to skip goa this time (I have been before)
Thanks for the tips !!

I will be in Mumbai for a couple of weeks and then travel to Pune for another couple. Based on some company factors, I might be required to visit a couple more places but that's not finalized yet!

Indian Friend published a cracking guide on good things to do in Pune which is on the site.
Do a search on Pune and I am sure you will find it
