Ict posts in India

Hello,

I'm looking to move to India and was hoping someone could give me advice on getting ICT posts in India and visa requirements.

Many thanks

Thomas

Your chance as a foreign national of getting a work permit are small. Protectionist policies mean that preference is ALWAYS given to citizens.

Do you know of what ICT skills are required now in India? I'm hoping there are companies I can move to in the UK that I may be able to move over to a base in India. Any information you can give would be appreciated.

You would have to be sponsored by an Indian employer. So UK company with a base there would be one way of eventually moving to an Indian base.
There are many foreign nationals working in India.
I can't help regarding ICT skills. I think you will get more information from the IndiaMike Forum site which is used more than this Forum by people living in or travelling to India.
